However, the makers postponed the release once again, citing the need to align the film’s worldwide distribution strategy amid global market uncertainties, including the Middle East conflict.
Announcing the decision, the production team stated that Toxic deserves the strongest possible global launch following the overwhelming response it received during its presentation at CinemaCon.
They explained that while the film has already been completed, additional time is being invested to finalise international distribution partnerships and ensure a simultaneous worldwide release.
Yash also shared his thoughts on the delay, saying that Indian cinema is currently enjoying unprecedented global recognition and that filmmakers have a responsibility to present their projects at the highest possible standard. As both actor and producer, he emphasised his commitment to giving Toxic the worldwide release it deserves.
