Union Cabinet, In a major push to strengthen India’s railway infrastructure and improve freight and passenger movement, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved three major multi-tracking railway projects with a total estimated cost of ₹23,437 crore.
